The Strategy

As with any project, ROI was our top priority, meaning we didn’t want to sluggishly spend 3 months running audits and putting together strategies.

We had to put together a strategy that meant fast revenue growth, that would snowball over months and years.

For Masterclip, that meant:

  • Expanding core category pages to dominate “horse clippers”, “dog clippers” and related terms.

  • Developing individual “dog breed” pages, such as “Clippers for Labradoodles”, etc to capture specific customer buying intent.

  • Creating hero content designed to earn high-authority links and build long-term trust.

  • Fixed long standing technical SEO barriers that stopped Masterclip’s growth.

  • Sustained, organic link building, growing offsite authority.

  • Establishing over 100 citations, both generic and industry specific.

  • Boosting average order value and conversion rate through light website optimisation.

This was a strategy made to win revenue, not awards.

First 3 Months

The first 3 months were crucial to delivering maximum impact.

Whilst other agencies might focus on one small area at a time, at Novus, all departments launched simultaneously to deliver the fastest results.

Content, links, technical fixes, citations and conversion improvements all moved forward together with no silos and no wasted time.
